Company Accountant

Salary: £48,000 - £60,000

Our client is a service based company which has a newly created role for a Company Accountant who is seeking an opportunity in a growing company who project a turnover of 30million within the next 2/3 years.
They are seeking a qualified accountant with experience of working in large companies who can demonstrate a proactive approach combined with a strong commercial acumen.
An overview:
• Ownership of Companies P&Ls
• Direct management of a team of 4
• The ability to produce monthly management accounts with assistance from your Team
• Driving improvement, automating processes.
• Interpret and communicate month end and forecast analysis for the department
• Analysis and review of performance, interpret results and drawing conclusions
• Provide insight and recommendations to deliver income growth.
• Provide forecasts to allow visibility to key stakeholders
• Interpret and communicate month end and forecast analysis for the department
• Lead the preparation of the annual budget for the department providing insight for key commercial assumptions
• Preparation and filing of quarterly VAT returns.
Ideal candidate:
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
• Strong management accounts experience
• To be a catalyst for change and system improvement
• Strong communication skills with all business operations
• Attention to detail is key.
