Company Accountant

Salary: £45,000 - £52,000
Location: Nottingham  |  Type: Permanent

Our client is a well respected established service/FMCG business with a turnover of around 20 million. The position will involve extensive contact with none finance staff.

They are seeking a dynamic accountant to join their management team and report to the Directors of the business. We have recruited across the business and know our client not only a great working environment but also a secure role which offers progression.

The role will be will be extremely varied managing a small finance team with a mixture of financial and management accounting work.
•Production of management accounts
•Budgets and forecasting work
•Preparing accounts for external auditors
•General day to day accounts work
•Overseeing payroll
•Supervision of staff
•Ad hoc project work

My client is seeking an individual with strong interpersonal skills good commercial acumen coupled with the ability to work closely with none-finance individuals. This position is available due to the retirement of the current accountant. It would be an advantage if you are qualified CIMA/ACA or ACCA however QBE (qualified accountants are welcome to apply).
