Corporate Tax Manager

Our client is a well-established Nottingham based practice. They are seeking an experienced Corporate tax manager to assist in growing an established Corporate tax department.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of companies across a wide range of sectors and sizes – working in an advisory capacity with these clients.
• You will have high levels of expertise along with being the lead in corporate projects and advisory work.
• You will be heavily involved with transactional work - Advising clients on company restructuring and company sales.
• You will assist with company opportunities such as R&D and Capital Allowances claims.
• Any indirect taxes or VAT knowledge would be useful.
• Reviewing tax computations prepared by junior members of the team.
• Assist clients with specific advisory tax solutions.
• You will be part of the senior management team responsible for developing the corporate tax department and play a crucial role in the continued growth and development of the firm, including recruitment, obtaining new clients and developing new services and specialisms.

This role would suit a Senior Corporate tax specialist looking to make a move into management with a progressive firm.
