Senior Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join fast expanding practice based close to Derby.
They pride on being a forward-thinking Accountancy Practice, and their main objective is to consistently deliver exceptional service to all our clients.

They offer a range of service lines including Bookkeeping, Payroll, VAT, Management Accounts, Accounts, Tax and Audit.

Our Senior Accountant role is a full-time position and is for 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of accounts for: Sole Trader, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
• Preparation of Directors Tax Returns.
• Preparation of Management Accounts.
• Liaising with clients, acting as a point of contact for enquiries, and encouraging positive relationships.
• Mentoring junior staff
• Managing workloads and deadlines
• Reporting to Company Directors.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• ACCA qualified or nearly qualified.
• Strong accountancy experience within a practice environment.
• Strong IT and accountancy software experience.
