A well-established firm of Chartered Accountants are currently looking to recruit an Audit Semi-Senior to join their busy team based in Nottingham City Centre. This firm has an excellent reputation for both client service and staff development.
Due to growth, they are currently looking for someone who is currently in an audit role with experience of accounts and tax as well. This role will incorporate all three areas and is a fantastic opportunity for a mixed role with a high audit bias. This role would also be suitable for an AAT Studier candidate looking to move into audit.
The firm has a varied client base consisting of private individuals, partnerships, owner-managed businesses and corporate PLC’s. You will therefore gain experience across a range of industries and sectors, whilst receiving structured training and support from an experienced management team
The Audit Semi-Senior will be responsible for:
• All stages of planning through to completion of a range of audits up to £100m turnover
• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Tax work in respect of companies and individuals
Essential Requirements are:
• Experience of accounts preparation and audit
• Practice experience is essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as this is a client facing role
