Semi Senior Accountant

Salary: £17,000 - £22,000

A multi sited, award winning Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors in Nottingham has a fantastic opportunity for a part/fully AAT qualified or qualified by experience Semi Senior Accountant. This position offers the right individual the opportunity to grow within the role and expand on previous experience, within a professional and friendly team.
Your key responsibilities in this role will be to prepare accounts for sole trader, partnerships and companies, by way of book keeping, preparing VAT and annual returns, with a minimal amount of audit work. You will also be preparing both corporate and self-assessment tax returns for your own portfolio of clients.
The successful applicant will ideally have practice experience and have the ability to 'hit the ground running’. As an individual, you will be an excellent relationship builder with strong good interpersonal skills who enjoys dealing with clients. You will have previous practice experience of working within an accountancy firm.
In return for your hard work, the company offers an excellent benefits package, including 32 days holiday, flexi time, time banking and a contributory company pension of 3%.
