Audit Semi Senior

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 Hybrid/study support and car-parking

Our client is a National firm of Accountants who due to growth of their Nottingham office seek an experienced practice professional to join their team.
This will particularly appeal to candidates who are working in smaller practices and would like to further their experience and training in a role which offers both accounts and audit.
Our client not only offers a fantastic working environment but also an excellent opportunity for a student part way through their ACA/ACCA Studies looking to gain audit exposure working with a varied client base including some large corporates.

The role will involve working as part of the audit team, the amount of responsibility will dependent upon previous experience. This is an excellent position for a career minded individual to fast track their development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Undertaking statutory audit and preparation of accounts, reports, ad-hoc assignments etc.
Planning, execution and completion of audits reporting to managers and partners.
Preparation of accounts from complete an incomplete records.
Co-ordinate fieldwork at clients including liaising with relevant departments.
Communicating and building relationships with clients.
Completion of corporate tax computations.
Development and supervision of trainees.

To apply for this role you will need to have worked for an accountancy practice for at least one year. Candidates who are studying AAT or ACCA and in training contracts may be assisted with study paybacks if tied in.
