Company Accountant

Hybrid - Full or Part time (minimum 30 hours)

Salary upto £55,000 FTE plus study if required

Our client is a small business based in Colwick with a turnover of around 5 million. Due to retirement of their current accounts person they are seeking an experienced Accountant to work closely with the MD, reporting in on all aspects of finance. They are seeking a capable Company Accountant who enjoys handling a wide variety of tasks.

Role will cover:

Supervision of one Trainee accounts person
Monthly management accounts production
Book-keeping and VAT returns
Bank Reconciliation
Analysis and ad hoc reporting to the Directors of the business
Sageline50
Producing cashflows and helping to set budgets
The business offers great security and the opportunity to help the Directors grow the business and get involved in the general commercial running. Qualifications are advantageous AAT/ACCA/CIMA but a good QBE (qualified by experience) is welcome to apply.
