Alexander Kaye Recruitment are recruiting for a Nottingham business. This is a fantastic small successful company who are very creative and have a great working environment based very close to Nottingham city centre. This is a newly created role for an individual with strong Credit Control skills who enjoys building relationships with clients.

As the Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end credit control processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments and maintaining strong relationships with our valued clients.

This is an excellent opportunity driven individual who enjoys reporting directly to the Directors and to contribute their expertise to a fast-paced environment while working with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
• Take responsibility for the end-to-end credit control process, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts and minimizing credit risk within your own set of customers.
• Monitor customer accounts, reconcile balances, and proactively resolve any payment discrepancies or issues that may arise.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
•Monitor and report on credit control performance, highlighting areas for improvement and implementing best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years current experience in credit control or a similar role
• Proven track record in managing end-to-end credit control processes, including debt collection and credit risk assessment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate credit data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial records and documentation.
• Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, open-plan office environment.

As this position is new to the business it can be tailored around the successful candidates skill set. The MD would love a person who can also assist him from time to time with preparing the paperwork for the accounts. The business is growing and offers a stable secure role in a really nice team environment.
