Company Accountant

Salary: £55,000 - £55,000 £55k FTE
Location: Loughborough  |  Type: Temporary/Contract

Our client is a successful Loughborough company who offer lovely offices and a split part time role working from home (WFH) and partly based in the office.
This is a maternity leave position for nine months
FTE £55k
- Preparation and production of management accounts and monthly supporting schedules and reports
- Production of margin by revenue stream including investigating variance to budget
- Production of commentary for the directors to explain any variances in the management accounts
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Liaising with payroll providers ensuring they have all the information necessary to process monthly payrolls
- Liaising with external accountants in regards to preparation of statutory accounts and P11Ds
- Review of P11D reports prior to submission to HMRX
- Management of sales and purchase ledger team of 2
- Preparation of forecasts
- Review and approval of all bank payments
- Management of day to day banking and production of daily cash flow forecasts
