Financial Controller

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

They not only have a great reputation but also a strong order book. The role of Head of Finance is a critical role within the business.

This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with good interpersonal skills and a commercially minded approach to business.

• Able to implement financial change and new processes within finance
• Presenting and communicating key messages to leadership monthly on financial performance, supporting with decision making as part of the business processes
• Oversight and review of monthly management accounts, budgets and Cash Flow Forecasting
• Ensuring day to day accounting tasks are completed timely and accurately by supporting four direct reports
• Managing performance of the financial team, supporting and overseeing the completion of daily tasks to deadlines
• Encourage knowledge sharing across the finance team and actively seek to support the development of others

• A strong communicator with proven leadership skills and a demonstrable team player
• A proactive individual who is goal orientated and a problem solver
• Be task orientated and attention to detail
• Being a strong and driven numerically minded individual, determined to always the meet the financial objectives of the company.
• Proven track record either as a Financial Controller/ Senior Management Accountant / Accountant
