Finance Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Our client is a successful business based near Newark on Trent.


Reporting to the MD and managing a small accounts team the role will cover the following:

- Preparation and production of management accounts and monthly supporting schedules and reports
- Production of margin by revenue stream including investigating variance to budget
- Production of commentary for the directors to explain any variances in the management accounts
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Liaising with payroll providers ensuring they have all the information necessary to process monthly payrolls
- Liaising with external accountants in regard to preparation of statutory accounts and P11Ds
- Review of P11D reports prior to submission to HMRX
- Management of sales and purchase ledger team of 2
- Preparation of forecasts
- Review and approval of all bank payments
- Management of day to day banking and production of daily cash flow forecasts
