AAT Trainee/Semi Senior

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000

An accountancy practice based in Nottingham (offering some hybrid working if required) is currently recruiting a Trainee Accountant to join their team.
Working for an independent, expanding business, this is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to further their career within this field and undertake a professional accountancy qualification as study support will be provided for AAT/ACCA/ACA.
Duties will include:
• Preparing financial accounts for clients
• VAT returns
• Tax computations
• Assisting clients with financial queries
• Liaising with the payroll department regarding individual contractors and their queries
Previous experience of working within an accounts team is required. The successful candidate will have worked preferably in practice and be confident dealing with people both over the phone and face to face.
