The role consists of increasing the Sales & GP by managing internal sales processing, customer services and supporting external sales team

The scope of the job -

Responsibility for the internal sales processes of three Divisions including business development.

A team of 10 staff covering sales admin, customer services, marketing and technical support.

The main tasks of the job

Execute Sales 80/20 business plans and strategies

Sales Order Processing & Quotations using Sage 200

Manage & develop internal Customer Service staff to grow with the business

Manage & develop external Customer Service staff to hit customer SLA’s

Manage reactive customer support remotely and by site visits

Manage Sage CRM System to monitor customer relationships

Manage CRM System for new customer pipeline

Build relationships with Key Account Customers

Improve sales & gross profit by setting and monitoring KPI’s

Monitor and improve customer satisfaction

Promote online shop ordering for small customers

Promote online portal ordering

Manage and develop company website

Manage digital marketing

Simplify systems to improve customer service and efficiency

Monitor competitors to improve our USP’s

Monitor 80/20 KPI’s such as Customer Turnover, Order Values, GP’s, Delivery time, last order dates,

Assist with Trade Shows

You Tube 'Howto’ Videos as marketing & training

Handle and resolve customer complaints & queries

Support Field Sales

Marketing materials, brochures, guides, samples

Investigate new products and markets

Job Package

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and have experience of managing an internal sales team/customer service people. A sales background is advantageous as you will deal directly with clients over the phone and will meeting the key clients within the business.

Basic salary £40k

Bonus System based on agreed KPI’s circa £10k

Holidays 25 days increasing to 30 days + 8 bank holidays

Pension at 5% Employee + 5% Employer

Bupa Health Insurance

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
