Personal Tax Manager

A well-established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Nottingham are looking for a Personal Tax Manager to join their successful and friendly team. In your new role you will manage a varied client base made up of private clients, high net worth individuals with a diverse client base covering numerous industries and business entities. You will be responsible for their compliance matters in addition to the management, training and delegation for more junior members of staff. You may also work on tax planning matters relating but not limited to, capital gains, wills and inheritance tax planning. You will establish and maintain close client relationships and be technically astute in order to spot any advisory/planning opportunities.
In order to be successful you will have excellent technical knowledge in personal tax compliance in addition to a working knowledge of managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients. The successful candidate will come from a practice background and ideally have tax planning experience (training is offered if not) and a CTA/ATT qualification. Applicants who are ACA/ACCA qualified with a mixed or corporate tax background gained within a busy tax department will also be considered.
