Semi Senior Accountant

Salary: £26,500 - £32,000

An exciting new role has arisen in a highly successful and growing accountancy practice based in Derby for a Part Qualified Accountant to join a busy lively accounts team.
The ideal candidate will be wanting to start or be part way through an ACA/ACCA qualification and have 1 years relevant experience in the preparation of accounts.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
• preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• preparation of corporation tax returns and drafting personal tax trade computations
• bank reconciliations
• working closely with clients, other members of the accounts team and other departments, including direct contact with the Partners and clients in order to obtain the required information to prepare their accounts
• assisting senior staff with ad-hoc duties
• maintain and update company databases in order to track/ monitor client progress
• checking client records to ensure all information has been received
• the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook along with CCH, Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
