Audit Senior

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Opportunity for a qualified ACA/ACCA to join a well respected firm in an audit / accounts senior role. The position is ideal for gaining a broad range of experience post qualification, combining staff and client management with business advisory work.
About the Role: Reporting to Manager and Partner level this role will suit an ambitious and commercially minded professional with the ability to deal with clients and staff at all levels and who is looking for long term career progression. The nature of the client base will require strong audit and financial accounts preparation skills together with an understanding of how businesses operate in different industries.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
• Recently qualified accountant ACA / ACCA.
• Experience in auditing medium sized, or above, companies at Senior level
• Experience of the audit of groups would be a benefit
• Be able to work largely unsupervised, demonstrate initiative and work well with clients.
• Be experienced in the management of staff, the planning of assignments and in assisting with training and development of junior staff.
• Strong client relationship skills. Builds confidence and trust with clients
• Able to proactively bring business development opportunities to the attention of Manager / Partner
• Excellent project / assignment management skills
• Strong team working skills
