Management Accountant

Salary: £43,000 - £47,000

THE ROLE
The Management Accountant will be responsible for the finance duties of the business, liaising
regularly with the Senior Team, and have the drive and ability to take forward the business into the
next stage of growth by implementing and reanalysing current accounting systems and practices.
The Management Accountant must be able to present financial data accurately and be proactive in
their approach.

REPORTS TO: The Board of Directors

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Producing monthly management accounts
• Produce monthly reports for the board
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Produce and submit all statutory reporting to HMRC
• Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues
• Supervising a small team of accounting technicians, including monitoring their performance
and overseeing their development
• Developing and managing financial systems/policies
• Negotiating and obtaining finance for major projects
• Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure
• Creating business strategies to generate value
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant or part-qualified and looking to qualify although an experienced QBE will be considered.
Good interpersonal skills are needed with the ability to handle a varied workload.
