Tax Manager

Salary: £55,000 - £80,000
Location: Bingham  |  Type: Permanent

Our client is a well respected accountancy practice who have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional to join their team.
The role is senior and could be Director level for the right individual.
Preferably full time hours although part/flexi hours can be considered with 2/3 days working from home if desired.

General Responsibilities

? To act as an advisor to owner managed businesses on a range of taxation issues – both advisory and compliance based

? To work with key clients on corporate restructures, groups, corporate tax planning

? To develop relationships with existing and potential clients

? To be involved with presentations to clients and contacts on key corporate tax issues

? Carry out some corporate tax compliance reviews on our audit clients and groups

? To act as a technical resource to other team members



Skills and Qualities required

? Qualified CTA (or ATT with experience); accountancy qualification would be preferable but not essential

? Proven experience in corporate tax work at a regional/national firm

? Technically excellent

? Commercially aware

? Experience of professional networking and presentation

? IT literate – smart use of Excel to increase commerciality of assignments

? Clean driving licence as travel to other offices and client premises will be regular
