Assistant Accountant

Fantastic newly created role due to growth for expanding construction business reporting directly to the Head of Finance.

This is an extremely varied role working in a friendly busy finance team of four. You will be involved in assisting with the transition of a new software. You will be involved in all aspects of accounts work helping the FC with the accounts prep for three companies, day to day finance functions – VAT, Payroll, Purchase Ledger, and the preparation and analysis of management reports. Month end work and statutory reporting.

The successful candidate will have 2/3 years experince working in finance and if studying AAT/ACCA or CIMA will be given full study support and help. It will be expected you will have strong IT skills and be good with Excel and spreadsheets. Some costing/construction knowledge would be also helpful.
