Company Accountant

Salary: £34,000 - £39,000 3/4 days per week plus CAR
Location: Derbyshire  |  Type: Part-time

Our client is a small manufacturing business with a 4 million turnover based Derbyshire. They are long established and offer a secure varied and interesting role.

You will be reporting into the owner of the business and have be responsible for the management of one accounts assistant.

Role will be covering the following:

Production of monthly management accounts

Assisting the Director in producing budgets and forecasting work

Monthly stock checks

General accounting ledger work

Bank Reconciliation

VAT returns

Accruals and Prepayments

Dealing with the company cars

General Ad hoc duties within the business to assist the MD

Salary is £34,000 - £38,000 pro rato with a company car

The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills and enjoy working across the business.

Sage knowledge helpful. AAT/ACCA useful not essential.
