Financial Controller

Salary: £40,000 - £46,000
Location: Doncaster  |  Type: Permanent

Our client is an established successful distribution/manufacturing business with a turnover of around 9 million who are seeking to grow to 20 million over the next few years. The position will be that of a Financial Controller reporting to the MD and the board. It is envisaged you will grow with the business with a view to becoming the FD.
The role will be extremely varied managing a small finance team with a mixture of financial and management accounting work. Working collaboratively with the management team and Directors, including leading regular monthly meetings to review the numbers.

•Production of management accounts - monthly/yearly
•Budgets and forecasting work – oversee, review and adhere to the budgets for each of the two businesses and assist in the company budgetary planning
•Preparing accounts for external auditors
•General day to day accounts work
•Supervision of staff
•Ad hoc project work

My client is seeking an individual with strong interpersonal skills good commercial acumen coupled with the ability to work closely with none-finance individuals. It would be an advantage if you are qualified CIMA/ACA or ACCA however QBE (qualified accountants are welcome to apply).
