Accounts Office Manager

£20,000 - £25,000

Our client is a family owned business based near to Shardlow.

They are seeking a good all-rounder who enjoys a varied busy role. This is a great position for an individual with good interpersonal skills who enjoys interaction with the general public.

The role will be split between administration, accounts and general office work.

Duties will include:

Allocating payments to accounts

Raising of invoices using Sage – sales and purchase ledger

Ordering of stock


Overseeing and managing two members of staff

Wages for six people

All accounts and computer records and entries – customer data etc

Dealing with the general public both face to face and over the phone

Ensuring the smooth running of all administration and finance procedures within the business

Updating records on Excel

The successful person will have strong Excel/Sage experience coupled with good organizational ability and strong interpersonal skills. If you are seeking a varied role this will definitely appeal to you.

The role will involve some weekend work every 3 weeks – this time is then given in lieu.

Candidates who are QBE (qualified by experience) in accounting are welcome to apply - AAT level useful not essential.
