Customer Services Supply Chain Manager

Salary: £38,000 - £41,000
Location: Leicestershire  |  Type: Permanent

Our client is a successful business based near Coalville, they are fast growing company offering great career prospects. They are seeking a Customer Supply Chain Liaison Manager with strong interpersonal skills who is highly analytical and enjoys working in a fast paced working environment.

Role/Purpose:
•To liaise with the supply chain contact in each of the key retailer accounts to ensure transparency of information and to ensure that product launches, replacements and delists are managed efficiently and cost effectively
•To evaluate, plan and analyse the effects of the customers promotional activity
•To construct robust sales forecasts through accessing retail data and information from the sales team
•To review all customer supply chain data and resolve any anomalies or issues
•To develop a database of retail pricing strategies by product category and to use this to inform pricing decisions
•To provide collaborative customer forecast data as required

Scope/Dimensions:
•Liaise with customer regarding all issues relating to product supply including the planning for promotional events
•Maintain promotional information to aid evaluation and planning of promotional events
•Sales forecasting and data analysis on all key retailer accounts
•Ensure that the customer supply chain drivers are correctly maintained to maximise sales
•Ensure that relevant colleagues are informed of customer supply chain requirements and issues promptly and effectively
•Develop and maintain a retail pricing database in conjunction with commercial team. Work with customers on all collaborative supply chain projects

Key Responsibilities:
•To maintain strong working relationships with customers to ensure that the supply chain runs efficiently and cost effectively
•To produce regular sales forecasts through accessing key retailer data and modify as appropriate - liaise with commercial team as required to validate this data
•To support the commercial team in the derivation of new product prices to ensure that pricing decisions are well informed.
•To inform the company has clear supply chain information and that decisions are well informed in this area

•Promotional events well planned and executed from a supply chain perspective

•Accuracy of forecast ensuring production can be adequately planned
•OTIF targets achieved with each customer
